District Connections is thrilled to connect the Class of 2022 with the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Museum is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture and offers visitors the chance to explore that history through interactive exhibits. The exhibits illustrate what it means to be an American and share how American values like resiliency, optimism, and spirituality are reflected in African American history and culture. The District Connections visit to the Museum will include a combination of individual exploration and guided discussion of aspects of the Museum. The visit will also include lunch at the Museum.
